Your Children are Our Priority!

It is very important to us, that our staff encourage the children to explore, create, and learn. KIDZ BIZZ is not just another drop-in childcare, where your child is dropped off, left to their own devices with minimal interaction from staff members or activities. KIDZ BIZZ spends time finding the right kind of people to care for you children!


Hiring and training personnel is extremely important to KIDZ BIZZ. It start’s with the hiring process, by screening applications, once a pool of acceptable applicants are selected we begin the interview process.  
The interview consists of two parts, the  first part is a written questionnaire followed by an oral test that uses situational type questions to test the applicant. Each applicant is graded, the results are discussed and a decision is made about whom should be hired. Once hired an employee must provide a criminal background check and complete our training. This training consists of: on the job training, mentoring, special KIDZ BIZZ classes given by a manager and a video series with tests. When hired a new employee is on probation for six months (during which time they complete the above training).  After the probation period selected employees, are given the opportunity to attend child care workshops.  These workshops are conducted at the local community college. Additionally any employee who wishes to become a senior child care provider must undergo training provided by the manager, workshops at the college and become CPR, First Aid infant and child certified.

  • Classes stress the importance of our mission, to provide a safe and secure childcare facility, that encourages development, nurturing and positive child interactions.
  • The Video/ DVD series that includes written questionire this video series consists of eight, thirty minute training sessions that cover the subjects of: Basic Orientation, Health & Safety, Transitioning, Lesson Plans, Creation Station, Positive Guidance & Communications (video series provided by the National Training Organization For Child Care Providers).
  • Additionally we conduct monthly meetings, to discuss the past month and hold staff development classes.
  • To become a senior child care provider a prospect must complete a checklist of actions, activities and responsibilities, which must be accomplished to our high standards, these tasks are observed by a KIDZ BIZZ manager and/ or owner and signed off by said individual. There is also a senior childcare provider written test that must be passed prior to receiving the title of senior childcare provider.
We have a little acronym at KIDZ BIZZ, it is S.M.I.L.E. and it stands for this: Safety first, maintain control of your environment. Motivation, be outgoing and energetic! Interact with the children. Initiative, be pro-active, jump-in & be involved. Loving & Nurturing, Build children's self-esteem. Educate, take every opportunity to educate our KIDZ BIZZ kids!

Brandye (manager)
Brandye is a successful and integral part of the quality childcare that we provide at KIDZ BIZZ. She is instrumental in providing the great activities that your children enjoy as well as maintaining a neat, clean and hygienic environment for all who attend KIDZ BIZZ. Brandye is one of the reasons KIDZ BIZZ has had the success it has had without Brandye there would not be a KIDZ BIZZ for us all to enjoy.
Brandye has over ten years of experience of working with children from something as simple as babysitting, volunteering at local elementary school, to organizing and conducting sporting activities for wide age range of children for her local recreation department. She has been working for KIDZ BIZZ since 2004, she also is responsible for selecting the arts & crafts activities that excite and develop your child s mind. She has undergone Adult, Infant, Child CPR & First Aid as well as attending a twenty-nine hour childcare workshop at the local community college. Brandye has a two year degree in business administration.

Brandye What do you enjoy the most about your job?

Being able to teach kids and have fun at the same time, is a big reason why I love working at KIDZ BIZZ. Whether it's learning A,B,C's at story time, identifying animals and their actions during dance time, or learning colors during art's and crafts, its just great place for children to be. Also, getting to know each child and their families brings a great feeling of trust to the environment. Finally, being able to work with such great staff makes KIDZ BIZZ a great place to be for kids and adults.
